About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Massage Therapist to join the team at Stephanies Spa Retreat, located within the iconic Sofitel Brisbane Central. This is a casual position offering up to 32 hours per week across our seven-day roster, ideal for an experienced therapist who thrives in a luxury hotel spa environment.
What You'll Do
- Deliver a range of massage and body treatments to the Stephanies® signature standard
- Perform thorough guest consultations, tailoring treatments to individual needs and preferences
- Maintain impeccable treatment room presentation and hygiene standards
- Contribute to a warm, professional and welcoming guest experience from arrival to departure
- Participate in ongoing training and development through Stephanies Collective
- Retail and recommend Skin Editions™ products where appropriate to enhance guest outcomes
- Support your team during busy periods and collaborate on delivering seamless spa operations
What You'll Bring
- Certificate IV in Massage Therapy (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Minimum 1 year of professional massage therapy experience (hotel or luxury spa experience highly regarded)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine warmth
- A professional presentation and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours across a seven-day roster including weekends
- Current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Nice to Have
- Diploma of Remedial Massage or additional bodywork modalities
- Experience with hot stone, pregnancy, or deep tissue massage techniques
- Knowledge of skincare and wellness products
